                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF MASTERS ROAD, WESTGATE
                   ROAD-VALLEYBROOK ROAD AND WINDBROOK LANE AS
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM SUNDAY, AUGUST 19,
                   1990 THROUGH SUNDAY, AUGUST 26, 1990 FOR THE
                   "CHATTANOOGA-HAMILTON COUNTY CLASSIC"
                   SPONSORED BY THE CHATTANOOGA-HAMILTON COUNTY
                   CLASSIC, INC.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Masters Road from Hixson Pike to Westgate
       Road, the temporary closing of Westgate Road-Valleybrook Road 
from
       Shelby Circle to Hixson Pike and the temporary closing of
       Windbrook Lane from 7:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. on each day from
       Sunday, August 19, 1990 through Sunday, August 26, 1990 for the
       presentation of the "Chattanooga-Hamilton County Classic"
       sponsored by Chattanooga-Hamilton County Classic, Inc. provided
       that the sponsor shall provide flashing barricades, road closed,
       and detour signs in accordance with the traffic control plan
       attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane
       for fire and other emergency vehicles and for residents' 
vehicles.
